Dr. Stephen Adebayo is an accomplished international Senior Public Relations Practitioner, Administrator and Communication Executive. A capable, intelligent and very presentable communications specialist with an unrivalled ability to understand the client’s objectives, industry and mission statement. He has much experiences and a proven ability in designing and implementing creative media campaigns, utilizing strategic partnership, executing global public relations, marketing, event management and advertising programmes to raise awareness.
Stephen has worked with many national and multi-national organizations until he decided to transfer his wealth of experience to the Nigerian Institute of Public Relations (NIPR) in 1996. He joined the services of the Institute as a top management staff and performed credibly well. This outstanding performance inter-alia qualified him to become the Registrar of the Institute when the position was declared vacant in 2007. Having emerged as Registrar/Secretary to the Governing Council, he served the Institute meritoriously for seven years until he left the services in 2014. It is on record that he was and still the longest serving Registrar of this Institute.
As an experienced, inspiring and motivational administrator with first rate interpersonal skills and the ability and passion to develop the vision of any company he manages, he is able to push performance improvement whilst at the same time delivering growth. Possessing vast managing directorship and managerial experience, he will always ensure that clear objectives and expectations are delivered and maintained.
He has undergone so many trainings and has attended several seminars, conferences, workshops and has written many research and position papers on topical issues that have been published in most of the leading national dailies. He has appeared on live television shows to discuss issues of national interest. Dr. Adebayo is also a seasoned publisher.
