Dr. Durojaye Ademola is the Chief Executive Officer of Qiblah Investments and proprietor of one of the leading schools in Nigeria, Qiblah School.
Born Over six decades ago, Ademola is a graduate of Agricultural Economics at Obafemi Awolowo University, Ile-ife,In 1989. And in 1996, he got his MBA from the same university. He also bagged M.Sc in Economics from the university of Benin and post Graduate Diploma in Education (PGDE) from university of Ibadan in 2008. He later capped it with a Ph.D in Educational Management from the university of Ibadan in 2021.
Dr. Ademola respected as a seasoned banker and thoroughly bred administrator, began his working career at Savannah Bank where he did his NYSC service from 1989-1990, AfriBank Nigeria Plc from 1992-1998, Cooperative Development Bank Plc from 1998- 2005 and finally, First City Monument Bank Plc from 2005-2006.
Dr. Ademola established the 1st unit of Qiblah Preparatory Schools (QPS) in 2005, and voluntarily resigned from the bank in 2006, to manage the school. QPS started with 28 pupils spread through pre-nursery, Nursery 1-3 and Primary 1-4 through aggressive marketing and effective business plan. Qiblah High School, the 2nd unit of Qiblah School was established in 2010.
Since its conception till date Qiblah Schools have maintained a high standard with various academic excellence award too numerous to count. Top of it is the school ranking among Top 100 best secondary schools in Nigeria by WAEC ranking since 2017 till date.
